    Hi,

Just had my second M1530 delivered last week, all up and running nicely except two issues:

Screen is SEC (1680x1050) and seems not only very dull as opposed to the grainy brightness of the last screen (1440x900), but also has horrendous light bleed at bottom that utterly detroys DVD's. That said DVD's look pretty bad too, so am waiting to see what a BD Movie looks like on here before finalising judgement.

Anyone think I should seek replacement? Or just bin this unit back to Dell too?

Secondly, my Core Temps are a full 15c apart at all times. When system has no load CPU drops to a cool 1196 Mhz but the Cores remain 15c apart. Core 2is always hotter. Anyone had the same? Do I have a poorly installed heatsink?

Again, do I have it fixed or simply send the unit back in disgust again?

Thoughts welcome. I really like this machine, and Seema Chatterjee got really snotty when I ordered it as I had sent the last one back for a number of faults related to resolution, screen, bleed, build, and media direct bluescreening repeatedly. I can see returning this one will be even more annoying a process as suddenly noone wants to handle the request.
