    Hi

I would like to know if there is compatible of ddr2 pc5300 cas4 on my laptop?

I read that could exist in pc 5300 cas4 incompatible with my laptop pc5300. This will be true?

    I think upgrade my laptop to 2Gb Ram and I dont know if I buy pc5300 667Mhz cas4 or pc4200 533Mhz cas4?

Any 200-pin DDR2 so-dimm regardless of speed will work ,so yes that PC5300 should work(assuming its a so-dimm module)

I would be the cheapest stick of ram since you probably wont the difference(the PC5300 @CL4 should perform better in benchmarks but in the "real word" it wont be noticeable)

Sorry to bump an older thread, but if you haven't purchased that memory yet, your better off getting this memory:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231118

the one you we're looking at is 667mhz and while it should work fine, it will have to down clock itself to 533mhz because the M170 only supports 533 bus speed.

I upgraded my M170 to the memory I linked and it works great, plus its cheaper than the one you were looking at.
