Do you think that at any time in the future Dell will offer a matte screen on this laptop?

    Thanks :)

Unfortuantely, no. It's too bad though, I really would've chosen the anti-glare or "matte" screen if it was an option. I'm actually ok with the glossy screen right now though, but still, anti-glare would've been a little better...

Thanks everybody! I wish they would--I just don't think I can handle having a glossy screen since I sit with my back to the light 90% of the time when using my laptop.

You can always buy an after-market matte screen protector.....

    Hi,

Where would I be able to get one of these in the UK? I have an Alienware M9750 and I find the glare from the screen is pretty excessive. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried doing a Google search for a UK supplier?

I guess I don't have the same question, technically, I am in the US. I was mostly curious where people who were using one purchased theirs, if it works well or not, if one is superior to another, etc.

    :)

So these screen protectors will reduce the glare? Awesome, will probably look into getting one of these when I get a laptop.
