Dell always does something to please me than messes it up by not finishing it right.

When I first got my M1530 I was pretty happy cause it only took 10 days to arrive from the day I ordered. Than I saw that the only freebie I got was the media remote and I had to email a Rep about my missing items.

Well, I emailed her and she said they were out of the cloth(s) so she would Credit with me $25(not sure what that means). She said they did have the Creative Earbuds and would send me an XPS case and CD case as well. Later that day my account showed two orders.
1)A0606832 Targus 15.4in Slipskin Laptop Case - Laptop carrying case
    and
    2) FK454 Kit,Earphone,BUDS,Notebook XPS-M1210

Well both boxes arrived today and I opened up first the big box which contained the slipcase. Than I before I opened the 2nd box I was like 'wait, this box is too small for a cd case'. Sure enough only the earbuds were there (sound great btw).

Now I emailed my Rep again to find out about my missing CD case and what exactly "credit your account" means. Anyone want to explain that part?

I have to know how you got your built m1530 at that price?? Online coupons? I know going on to Dell's site you can get the exact same configured m1530 for 3 completely different prices if you navigate through the right screens... what did you do?

    Right here buddy: http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=863669

Any place you need a member id, just go to DellUniversity.com and find a school as a prospective student and go to the start shopping link and it should give you a member id. Of course if your school/work place is part of Dell's EPP you should use that.

I didn't get anything but when I complained they sent me $50 coupon. I'd rather take the coupon though. If you are good at complaining I've heard people have gotten $100 because they didn't get the freebies.

A Dell rep is supposed to call me early next week about this. If they don't have the kit, a gift card would be nice.

Well Im pretty happy overall. I got a good screen (no stuck/dead pixels) no dents on my chasis, and everything works fine. I just need to call Lojack cause I didn't register before I reformated. Freebieswise I got my slip case and earbuds and $25 back for the cd case and cloth.
