I was wondering if anyone has, or at least knows, the speed of the 100GB hard drives that Dell puts in their XPS Gen 2's?? I ask, because I was under the impression that they were only 4200RPM, but when I just looked at my order, I see it is a 5400RPM. I was just wondering if this was standard, or if this is another perk of the military website. I also just checked and saw the 40GB drive in my year old i8600 is a fujitsu 5400RPM, and I am fairly sure those were only supposed to be 4200 on the regular Dell site.

Anyway, I was just curious, since if that IS a perk, that will help me make a few bucks since I am selling a few on ebay to pay for the one I'm gonna keep!! In the end, I paid $1,635 for a Gen2 with bluetooth, 1 year warranty, 100GB HD, and a DVD burner, so I'd say I did ok anyway!! ;)

    Thanks for any help!!

the hdd in the xps gen 2 is 5400. Dell changed over most if not all of their HDD about a month or two ago to the 5400. Their website still says 4200.
