    XPS laptop recent delivery times?

    Ive always recieved my Dell Desktops within 4-5 days max with 3-5 days shipping....if I OVERNIGHT the order, is it possible to order Sunday and recieve it by Friday?

    Yeah I would say so. It usually takes about 2-3 days for them to build em.

    My laptop arrived in 8 days from the time of order including the weekend. It sat in the build stage for 5 of those days went to testing and then to boxing in the same day and was shipped 2 days later.

    I ordered mine from the Dell Outlet site, which saved some time. Ordered my xps 1530 on just before midnight last Tuesday with regular (3-5 day) shipping, and ended up getting the machine Friday morning (a little over 48 hours later). The machines there are pre-built, so if you're pressed for time, can find what you want, and are OK with a re-furb (with the warranty, I was), then it's a worthwhile option.
