    Hi,

When i close the lid on my replacement dell xps m1330, and then open it again, the computer wakes up but i get no display sometimes. The computer is awake since i can press all caps lock, numlock and see the lights go on and off.

on my original one, i get the display but the display setting goes back to dark setting which was bearable.

i have just performed a clean install of vista and only have the drivers installed.

My replacement has bios a6 and motherboard a04. I am going to try downgrading the bios to a5 and see if that makes a difference.

    Any ideas?

update your display drivers to 163.01 and it will work fine
