Hey I am planning to order either a 1330 or 1530 maybe after new years but I think that dell might add possile pocessor upgrades(penryn) and new color options available soon. I wouldnt mind waiting a few weeks for a differnt color option. Does anyone know what color options they might add or by what date they will be offereed?

Uh.... probably never???

Not sure about M1330 , but M1530 will get the penryn upgrade soon (it is in the spec).
As for additional colors, well... i don't know whether DELL will release more colors or not; but IMO I don't think those extra cheery Inspiron colors like pink, yellow or green etc.. would really go with a sleek, thin XPS -
Someone mentioned cobalt blue for the M1530 a while back, and that is not an Inspiron color.

Realistically though, i doubt they'll add any new ones... Adding more superfluous options that net them nothing(not like someone would refuse to buy a inspiron because they wanted purple... they would instead settle for pink or yellow) and force them to keep extra stock dont really sound like something dell would invest in.
On the plus side, getting it done professionally shouldnt cost too much... or for even less, you could slap on a vinyl sticker. -
Don't think so...it caused endless wait times in the inspirons when they came out. Dell won't be so foolish to repeat that.

It could be a lie but the "Dell guy" in the M1505 video on direct2dell or youtube said in the end that we could expect new color and screen options after the holidays, we got the screen options but how about some new colors, maybe an in all white?

The new inspirons are up on one of dell's sites, austria or australia, don't remember which but there are some new colors in that line and a few of them have the high gloss finish. It would be nice to see some of that carry over to the XPS, currently only the white has a gloss finish on the xps.
