    Hey!

Just got a new XPS M1330 when i first turned it on the front panel LED`s where the 'power on' and 'hdd access' are located, didint turn on at all.

I have been in Bios tried to chekc if they were turned off by som reason without finding a soloution.

Does anyone know how to fix this or do i have to call Dell XPS spport?
Hope it can be fixed without chanhing Mobo or something else, maybe a loose cable??

Sounds like they aren't connected. The cables that attach everything on the 1330 are very tiny and very thin - they can get dislodged easily.

Go to support.dell.com and get the service manual. You can try and fix it yourself if your comfortable with it, if not call Dell and have them do it.

Do you have any direct link to the exact palce where it says in the service manual where i can check the cables?<

As long as i can avoid dissamble the motherboard i think i can try fixing it myself, just need to know what and where the cable is...

I suggest you call Dell for a replacement system and return the existing one when you get the new one. If you complain hard you might even get a freebie!

After looking through the service manual, it looks as if the lights are soldered onto the mobo (no cable attached). In that case, call Dell for service.....
