I configured an XPS M140 a few days ago for $1042, and now the same system today is $1386....what gives?
I know that Dell is constantly releasing coupons for the Inspiron line, but what about deals for the XPS? (I've only been looking at this model for the last month or so, so I'm not familiar with the frequency of the deals)
Thanks!

I don't know if Dell does price cuts on the XPS systems, but sometimes they have "free" upgrades, which is nice for a non-coupon eligible system.
As for Dell deals, they usually come out every Thursday for all the discounts and specials they are running. Coupons are also released around that time.
I would wait and see what they release next week to see if you can get a discount...$300 if it comes out is worth an extra week.

On the home site, the original price of the XPS M140 was $999, it then dropped to a low of $849... now it seems to be up to $899.

I just ordered xps m140 for 849 and only added true life. Also had an employee discount that gave me a few more dollars off. Dell prices seem to change a LOT! Should have my laptop sometime this coming week.
XPS m140 price change?
