what should i go for if i dont need the battery?
im gonna use it as my original PC like my deskop i had.
XPS uses p4 so if u have the pc on for more than a day the notebook will burn up or something?

ill use it exactly like a deskop..
i want to have it on all day long, playing games...
    can 9200 handle this?

Of course it won't burn up... - I reckon you should go for the XPS - I'm looking at the 9200 because its portable (5 hour battery life!!) and should be good for DVD's etc. But if you want a true desktop replacement (and especially the Radeon 9800 - 256 MB) then the XPS has no real competitor.

If your going to use it like a desktop why don't you get a small form factor pc and a flat panel monitor - it would be more powerful/cost less...
