hey guys, I think of buying another DELL 17" since my first one really was nice.. aight I have a budget of $2000 (as mentioned in another topic I just started, but this is no cross post!) and was wondering if I should go for one of these XPS offers on ebay..
Here is the link to one of these xps deals: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-BLACK-Dell-...99317399QQcategoryZ140080QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
as you can see it is within my budget and even has the Nvidia GO 7900 - I only had the GS 7900 back then and was wondering if it is a better graphics card.. besides of that it has only 80gig (as in comparison to my 100gig 7200rpm before), so I was wondering if XPS is - besides of the nicer design - worth it? is it better built, or has overall better performance (like better motherboard, or even better/more evenly lid screen or whatever?).. because usually if you buy an XPS system that has basically the same features as an Inspiron E1705, except for maybe the GO graphic card, it costs like a good thousand bucks more, so I was like what the heck? aiight enlighten me :) thanks
P.S. in what way are the glowing things customizable/turn off-able in the XPS? hehe i think the touchpad thingy could annoy me within a couple of days :D

1.) You can get the 7900gs in the e1705.
2.) You can get the gs and 7900gtx in the m1710.
3.) They are built on the same chassis, have the same mobo, and share most parts.
4.) You can adjust/disable the lights in the BIOS.

Unless you have a lot of $$ to spend, and want the pretty lights, I'd get the e1705.
