Damn that still seems kind of pricey. Maybe because it is the M1330? People are getting M1530's with better specs for $500.00 less.

 

Oh and is the SB Audigy a downgradable option? You do know, it is just a standard soundcard with software right?

I am "pretty sure", that the slim and light is another name for thier "LED". Dell lists just about EVERYTHING on thier orders. So they could be listing the screen/casing/camera/nuts/bolts/malaysian fingerprints in a new part#.

But when in doubt, just Dell Chat it up.

 

HOW IMPORTANT IS THIS : Add Accidental Damage and LoJack Theft Protection to 2Yr Warr. [add $149 or $5/month1]

 

How likely are you to have an accident with it? Or be around someone who will have an accident with it? (or on it?)

 

Damage protection is never a bad thing. But Lo-Jack is a joke. Read the fine print on that. All they will do if they do not find your laptop, is give you a refund on the cost of Lo-Jack.

I was also wondering about the same thing. What you get IS a LED Screen. The second one is the casing I think.
