    Hi guys,

I have a strange problem. Whenever I touch my XPS, I feel, sometimes small, sometimes hard shock. I read on the forum about this, but I think my problem is a little bit different. I have my XPS for a month now, and all began since 2 weeks. Also i didn't changed or moved my XPS from its position since I got it.

To remember, my 20days waranty expired, so is there any way to call dell to send my new ac adapter. I live in Germany.

Yea, call dell and they should send you a new adaptor for free, it's sort of a recall so it doesn't matter if you're out of warranty.

Just to ask, the 3 pong adapter, how does it look like? Are these part numbers for correct adapter (3 pong):
ac cable (electric cord to wall) Dell Part #F2951
ac adapter (connects to pc) Dell Part #U7809
    (Found this here in forum)

Does Dell support work at weekend, or do I have to wait until Monday?

Your laptop might not be grounded right, and last I checked even refurb systems come with a one year warranty.

See if dell will repair it for you!
