Is XP Media center connected to the media direct function on the xpsm140? If i get rid of Media Center and install XP Pro do i lose any functionality of media direct? I would think not, but just checking. Thanks!

Nope. Media Center edition is just XP Home with the windows media stuff.

Media Direct l believe is a seperate partition on your HDD.
