Inspiron 6400
Deleted recovery partition
Did NOT delete Media Direct partition
Loaded XP SP2 and have been running with it for 6 months. Everything was working 100%.
Notebook powered off - pressed the Media Direct button - Media Direct would launch.
Notebook powered on - pressed the Media Direct button - Media Direct would launch.
Decided that it was time to do a re-load from a Norton Ghost Image.
Restored from my Norton Ghost Image. Windows started as I expected.
Booted from the Media Direct CD, C:\MD2\repair.bat was run - it said it was done.
Notebook restarted and came up with;
[XLDR] ATA!............and that's where it ends folks!

I have been reading about Partition Table Editor - I boot into Dos and run the PTEDIT.EXE and the values I get are;
From what I understand, my problem has something to do with Windows writing over the Dell's specific boot record and all I need to do is fix it!
So when I run the utility this is what I see - but I am not sure what I need to do!
Hard Disk; (I am able to select 2 hard Drives - the 250MB I assume is the Media Direct partition)
Drive1(250MB)
Drive2(93958MB)
So for Drive 1 I see
1..0C..80..0..1..1..30..254..63..63..511937
2..........ALL 0'S
3..........ALL 0'S
4..........ALL 0'S
And for drive 2 I see
1..DE..00..0..1..1..1023..254..63..63..192410442
2..........ALL 0'S
3..........ALL 0'S
4..........ALL 0'S
Thanks in advance for the help.
