    Hi,

    I have dell inspiron E1505. SATA 120Gb.
This weekend I tried to repartition with Partition Magic 8.0. I made a mistake converting the primary partition to logical, in order to divide c: into three. After that it won't boot as stated in the manual! I want to kick myself!

To make up this, I tried to merge these three logical into the original, but was unable due to errors on one partition, probably it does not contain sufficient info for booting the system.

I also tried to recover with ctrl+f11, and still get XDLR ATA ERROR. How can I fix the partition problem?

    Appreciate for your help!

Think the only thing you can do now is delete all partitions, repartion it the way you wanted to in the first place, then reload Windows.
