    Xps 1530 shipping

    I ordered my dell xps 1530 on 1/23/08. When i checked my order status that day it said :
    Shipping Method: 3-5 Business Days
    Shipped Date: 2/7/2008
    Est. Delivery Date: 2/12-2/14/2008

    Today(1/27/08) i checked my dell order status again and now it says
    Shipping Method: 3-5 Business Days
    Shipped Date: 1/27/2008
    Est. Delivery Date: 1/30/2008
    Carrier: Data Temporarily Unavailable
    Tracking Number: Data Temporarily Unavailable

    is there an error with my dell xps 1530 shipping date? or did dell reallly finish building my laptop in a few days and i am going to recieve it this wednesday?!?!

    Same thing happened to me. It doesn't actually take them that long to assemble a computer. Dell just likes to give themselves a lot of extra time and lower customers' expectations ;). This way people won't complain if they have to wait the estimated time and will be pleasantly surprised it ships ahead of schedule.

    Same deal here man. I ordered mine late afternoon on the 25th and by the 26th it had hit boxing.
