    I am looking foward of upgrading my processor of my M170 i currently have a 2.0Gigs, what the highest they have for this machine? and is it possible to upgrade? and can dell do it or?

    cool. but whats the highest they have for my system, i was looking on dell but cant find any processor :(

    The highest P-M CPU in terms of clock speed is the PM780. Honestly, I don't think the upgrade is worth it - it'll be hard to do, and very costly. The performance gain from the setup you already have will be very marginal at best.

    The 780 Pentium M is the last Pentium M made. It runs at 2.26ghz. I have found them on newegg, but not at the moment. I hope this helps.

    Get a Intel 745 (or whatever) Dothan and do a Pin mod
