After ordering my XPS M1530 on the 17th, and watch it be in pre-production for 10 days, I'm delighted that it has moved forward to production.

How long does this stage normally take, and do they work on Sundays?

it must be certain parts have run out and it goes back into storage until the parts come back in again. I think it works on a 1st ordered 1st built basis.

Massive glitch on the status page.

Whilst viewing my own order status, I thought I would test security by changing the customer number and the order number to one more after my own and viola.

I got the name, address and phone number of another customer :O

    Mine also
I ordered it on the 23 Jan (pre production for 16 days now ) , went to phase 3 production on Fri Feb 1 then on saturday went back to phase 2 again - EDD is Feb 13 . Some guy from the netherlands said that they had runout of 1440 by 900 screens in Ireland , so I emailed customer services , said there was no delay on screens and my laptop was IN Production EDD Feb 13, so dont know who to believe .
will ring if it does not arrive after 13 Feb.
