I just received my XPS m1530 today after ordering it on 12/13. It shipped in 6 days!! Here are some pictures of my system so far for those that haven't gotten one yet or have one on the way. I got the Tux Black case with the 9 cell battery.

Everything that came with the computer. It feels like you are getting the package by going with XPS :D

Images of the leather casing they give you. Notice how they shoved a remote, cleaning cloth, and the headphones (with a case) into that one corner. Only got 1 of each though.

The bottom with a 9 cell (85WHr). Don't know what the bars and image actually do.

You might want to check your bottom because they were careless here. One of the slids did not quite make it in. I took off the lid and reattached it to fix it. Also got ram and installed it.

My performance with specs in the sig.

Overall, the build of the computer is very strong. I accidentially let the lid slam from 45 degrees from closing and the black plastic with the XPS logo is a little scuffed. Can only be seen in the light. Also, the left hand corner of the lappy is a little warm from hard-drive working hard. Looking to wipe it tonight to see if it improves performance. If there are any specific pics you need, ask away!

That image on the battery is normally a button you can press to see how full (or not) your battery is ;).
That is the first leather casing I see, I've seen fabric ones before?

By the way, how many hours of battery life can you get with the 9 cell?
Under normal usuage, just typing on word, 1/2 brightness.
    Thank you for the pics!

Yea, the casing holds 16 CD's. Great for the included software, or not. Freebies are great though. No CPU whine, headphone pitches, or dead pixels. This one is a sure winner.

I was able to play Crysis on medium settings. The system automatically detected the best settings and that's what it came up with. It actually runs quite smoothly on medium. Been playing F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate all on max settings. Two times it lagged for a split sec when I was rounding a corner, but other than that it ran very smooth and extremely fast. This is a gaming laptop for sure. I'm quite impressed at the performance. About to give Call of Duty 4 a run. Thinking of picking up Bioshock later as well.
