My M1330 is about 3 hours in high performance, and about 2.5 hours in power saver/off.

I think mine is too long (6 cell). I am using the 65 watt adaptor and am not sure if a 90 watt with a higher current will help. Could people post their recharge times so I can see how bad my time is?

    Thanks guys,

    Shonak

Is this while the laptop is on or off? (I assume on because of the power settings) And if on, are you also working on the computer at the same time? Gaming? Essentially, how much power are you drawing at the same time as you are trying to charge... That affects your recharge time.

Check your power adapter's wattage, if it is too low (or the adapter is damaged), the recharge time will take long.

QuickSet (if installed) tells you all about charging times/battery stats.

On my M1330 i press Fn+F3 and it's right there.

yep while it is on. my quicket says 220 minutes..thats quite a while...in high performance. In power saver, it takes slightly less. What about everyone else?

you computer is obviously extremely faulty. i would definitely return it. you should demand some compensation, too. explain that your battery takes 220 minutes to charge and you think it should take 200 or 150 or something. i'm sure they will probably give you a couple free computers.

My M1530 recharges in about one and a half hours on "Balanced" mode. Haven't tried it in High Performance mode.
