I'm getting along reasonably okay with Dell's delivery system. I was hoping for a slightly quicker turnaround (it's been about a week) but, after viewing some of the Studio delay threads from a month or two ago, I know it could be worse.

As things stand I'm at stage 5 with the statement "Your order has been sent for delivery" on the order page. There's a link to Walsh Western but there's no entries about it on the linked WW page.

Is it likely that delivery wont occur until next week sometime (does the fact that the Walsh Western page hasn't been updated mean that they don't have the package or is it just an issue updating the page)?

Should there be a phone call to arrange a delivery date / time or will it just arrive (and what happens if there's a call to arrange a date but I'm not around to take it?)?

I'm not sure how the Walsh Western site updates itself during the weekend. My E6400 was assembled and sent for delivery on a Tuesday, I had the automated phone call on the Wednesday morning and it was delivered on Thursday morning.

Keep watching the WW site. If the drivers don't work weekends then the shipment may not move until Monday. And listen out for the phone call. I recall that I had to press a key to accept the proposed delivery date.

Johns right , you get an annoying phone call that if you don't answer it rings again every 2 hours. You choose date and press 1/2 for am/pm DELLivery
