    Yep. Thats what happens when I call the Dell order status hotline and punch in my order #. And yes I am using the right one. It shows up fine on the website (esd oct 15).

    Just thought it was funny :)

    On a side note, I talked to a CSR and he said (and I quote) "The order is on back order right now". Moreover, he claimed it would ship by october 10...it says oct 15 on the status website. What does he mean by "back order"?

    Somehow I doubt that...I placed the order 5 days ago...it still says "in production".

    Actually, it is a known bug accessing the system in Canada.

    Well in that case, how can I find out my "detailed" order status? As I said, the website only says "in production". And what does "order on back-order" mean?

    basically means its delayed b/c they dont have supply.. dont worry, it will ship a week b4 the date they give u.
    mine was supposed to ship oct8... instead it shipped sept20.
