Hi guys, first post. I have a possible solution to the horrendous beeping sound that is coming from the internal speaker when you change the volume and other stuff. I tried all the other ideas (except for the intel wireless one, don't use that so it doesn't bother me).

I did 2 things, so please do them both also, because I'm not sure which one was the one that fixed the problem! I'm afraid to test it to find out which one's the right one cause I don't want to take any chances of the problem coming back.

I tried to disable the "beep" from device manager, view-show hidden, then disable beep under the non-plug and play things. Then I went into the registry by start-run- typing: "regedit"

This was another fix from a different post that I was trying, but I searched for the item he was talking about (something like inputmonitor) and I saw another one that looked very suspicious: IntSpeakerMute. Search for this from the very top, you will find 2 of them, kill them both! I did this by double clicking on them, then where it says "00" at the end, highlight that part (which will highlight some part at the right as well, who cares) then change that to 01.
I did this for both, and somehow the problem was gone. It was strange though because when I went back and checked, the first instance of IntSpeakerMute was back to normal as "00" ??? Don't know, but the problem is gone. Maybe if the problem stays when you try it, change the first one back to the original 00 and only change the second instance. That's how I have it right now and the beeping is gone when I move the volume up and down. Finally I can wear headphones again without bleeding from my ears!

Just because this is a very annoying problem, and that's how things work out sometimes, there's a good change this will do nothing for most people, or it could really help, try it and see, but make sure you know how to change it back if something happens.

Oh, if your computer blows up or something, it's not my fault. Just thought I'd throw that in :D

I usually cut the pc-speaker-cable..... first thing when I get a new computer :)
(oh I know I could unplug it, but cutting it gives me the McGyver-defuses-a-nuclear-bomb-adrenalin-rush) :D
    totally worth it ^^

This already does the trick. Disable the 'Beep' hardware as mentioned and there are no more annoying beeps.
