Hello everyone, this is my first post on this website, if someone could clear up a few things for me on the Inspiron 9200, that would be great.
First of all i am planning to get the:
Pentium M 735, 1.70 GHz, 2MB Cache, 400 MHz FSB
512MB 333mhz pc2700 DDR SDRAM
Is this a powerful computer? i heard that i could compare it to a Pentium 4 2.6, is this true or would it be slower than a P4 2.6.
I do web/graphic design, so if for example i have photoshop, flash, dreamweaver running at the same time, will the Pentium M be fast enough?
I also play games such as medal of honour, will a Pentium M run the game smoothly, or will there be a few bugs?
Last question, i heard the screen quality of the 9200 is awesome but i never got a chance to see it, for anyone that has it, is it really that great? is it one of those glossy screens which has such a good quality?
Thanks to anyone that can help me.[]

well, first of all, they dont ship yet, you just buy them and they ship sometime in december, so no one has seen the screens unless they work for Dell. Well, its true they do compare it to a 2.5-7 ghz p4 HT, but i would reccomend notching it up to a 1.8, or better a 2.0 if you can afford it, they are they ones that will perform almost as good as a Extreme Edition p4 (3.2-4 ghz). It will serve your photoshop stuff probably pretty well, with a 1.7-2.0 Pentium M, plus it's ATi Mobility Radeon 9700. The last thing is that you really want to upgrade your memory as much as possible, so increase the ram to 768 or 1 gb, even if it means sacrificing Pentium speed. One more thing, if you really want to do all those things running at the same time, GET A 7200 RPM HARD DRIVE, this is probably the most important of all. all the other HD's will slow you down.
Here is your best bet Config:
Pentium M 735 1.7 GHz 2 mb cache, 1 gb ram (768 if too expensive), and a 60 GB 7200 rpm hard drive.
