I am getting this for $1515

    3.2Ghz P4
    512Mb PC3200
    128Mb ATI9700
    60gb 7200rpm
    15.4"

and all the other garbage they add on?

What do you guys think. Is it worthwhile to buy a 9100? I am looking for a desktop replacement that will last 2-3 years.

That looks like a good price. Is it a refurb?

    I recently bought a i9100 and I like it. It is real fast, and I basically only ordered the minimum performance specs (2.8Ghz, 512Mb, 64Mb ATI9700, 40Gb 4200rpm, CD-RW/DVD, 802.11b/g). I paid $1331 shipped.

The only upgrade you might want is the 1Gb ram, but you can upgrade ram yourself anytime in the future. So I'd say that you have nothing to worry about.

Get the WSXGA screen. Well worth it, IMO...
