i bought a 1420 and was wondering if accidental protection for 3 years is worth $60-$70

I'll be going to school at nyu, but I'm fairly careful with my computers. Is it worth it? I was also wondering if you accidentally spill water on your laptop and it dies. coudln't you just call up dell and be like, my laptop stopped working for no reason?

And they'll be like "hmmm... so why is the screen cracked again?"

for only $60 its definitely worth it....they can tell when you spill something and if the screen brakes like cobalic said, theres no way around it.

plus in 2 years, see if they sell it on the refurbished outlet, if they don't, throw it agains the wall and perhaps you'll get their new model since they don't sell parts for it anymore :)

Umm I just called that number and a very effeminate man answered and said, "Hey big boy! So you want a rub-down?"

    Thanks a lot cobalic.
