About 2 months ago, I spilled a glass of tea on my laptop and then I turned it off immediately to clean the mess up. I took out the battery and alowed it to dry over night and when I turned it on the next day, it started working... but only for a few minutes. I called Dell and they sent me a box to ship it back, but the next day, my laptop was working fine. I still intend to send it in to get it fixed because the keys are sticky and the microphone doesn't work, but does it still cover it if I waited 2 months? Also, how long would it take to get my laptop back? I'm scared I'll go insane without internet for a few days.

Since you've waited 2 months, you should call Dell back to make sure you're still covered.

If my laptop was at stake, I wouldn't wait 2 months after making return arrangements.
