Would anyone be knowing the adapter model no. (or dell part no.) shipped with the Inspiron 6000...I want to know the input AC voltage range it can take.

    Thanks a lot booger!
Would you be knowing the input AC voltage? I want to see if I can plug it into other countries sockets.

it's variable, you can plug in no problem. you will need an adapter for the actual plug, but the xformer can handle the non-US voltage.

Dell website seems to have a "65-Watt AC Adapter for Dell Inspiron 6000/700m Notebook" (Manufacturer Part# 1X917, Dell Part# 310-4408)...but the model no. PA-1650-05D given by booger is not mentioned in it. Is that the correct model no.?

I have a 6000d and got the number off of my adapter. It was purchased back in March. Sounds like they have a new adapter model. It looks like mine is Rev A03 and is a 65-Watt. It should not really matter as long as the plug fits and the input voltage is right.

    Input AC 100-240V 1.5A
