i have a laptop with 256mb ram. I bought a 1 DIMM 512mb rem and installed it successfully. Now, i have an extra slot in my motherboard for additional ram.

Question is, can i install my spare 256mb ram on the other slot? Is it actually possible? I dont want my 256 to be put to waste.

    thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem at all.
