Need to buy a new ac adapter for my Dell e1505. Has anyone ever dealt with a site called Justlaptop batteries? They claim to have new Dell brand chargers for half the cost of what Dell charges. Or can anyone recommend a similar reputable supplier?

    thanx

I am not sure of Justlaptop batteries, but I usually use www.parts-people.com. They are great - quick shipping and great customer service. Their prices are also very competitive.

I would just go on ebay. You can get them for 20-25 shipped. You dont have to find one specific for your model (they are all the same since like 2002/2003). There are just 65 and 90 watt ones...just get the one you have now.

    Thanks for the replies.
Booji-- I checked the parts people site, they have every part imaginable for my model but no ac charger.
nizzy- checked ebay but I've never really bought much off there.Severe case of info overload when I searched for e1505 charger, thousands of hits and most of the items didn't really have description. When you say they are all the same since 2003 do you mean they are all "universal" chargers or all Dell brand chargers are the same? If there are any sellers on there that you are familiar with who have a good description of the correct, new Dell brand charger I'd appreciate it if you could post a link.

Due to my unfamiliarity with ebay stores I took a chance and ordered the charger from JustLaptopbatteries.com. Cost was 41 dollars delivered and it arrived little more than 24 hours after I ordered it! I guess this is probably because the location they shipped it from is less than 200 miles away from me.
Charger seems to be a new Dell part and works fine although I have only charged up the laptop once so far. Based on this initial experience I would definetly do biz with them again.
I don't have any connection with the company, just putting this out there it case anybody could use it. I'm sure there are tons of other fine companies out there also, just thought I'd post my feedback on this one.
