Hey guys, im not sure if this is a dell or just a general annoyance, but anytime im typing in a text field, (this is especially frustrating while chatting), for some reason the text will start typing in the middle of the sentence. For instance, Ill be tpying and all of a sudden the flashing cursor thing will go to the middle of the sentence and ill accidentally keep typing.

Anyone else experienced? I used to have this problem on a dell latitude too.

that from what I am told is cause by unconscious tapping of the mouse pad. It happens to me as well, but I never notice my fingers tapping the mouse pad.

yeah thats true, its your thumb or palm touching the mouse pad while you are typing. I use to do it with one of my HP notebooks

If you check your touchpad settings I think there is a place where you can disable the touchpad for some time after the last keystroke, this prevents this problem pretty well for me...
