    annoying static noise in dell 1520

    just connected new 1520. After running about 20 min. started hearing
    static, low-frequency popping noise coming from keyboard area.


    its distracting to a point where I can't concentrate. Anyone hear of this?

    Mt9, as vostro1400user suggested tech support is the best plan as no notebook should make noises like that. If you have any trouble getting in touch with them I will be happy to help out.
