    anti-virus software and anti spyware software

    We're looking for anti-spyware software recommenddations if u have any. Many thanks.

    and Just wanted to confirm something,

    You CANNOT have two different vendors for antivirus software but you CAN have different vendors for
    anti-spyware software. can anyone corroborate this?

    Spysweeper for sypware and / or spybot.

    For antivirus i use norton corporate edition.

    I think its best to only have one real time protection of both spyware and antivirus. I would say yes you can have more than one spyware programs if they dont all use realtime protection. I would keep one real time and the rest as just scanners.

    For antivirus it is best to just have one.

    Personally I use McAfee Entreprise (free from my school) along with SpywareBlaster. Those are the 24/7 protection. On top of that I use AdAwareSE for scanning purposes.

    pc cillin is still the best out of the big three for paid. 45$ for 3 licenses from newegg, digital download.

    i buy nothing but that for my windows boxes.

    I try to keep what I'm using current on my website. You will find that the XP and Vista spaces may have different recommendations from different folks.
