    Is there a clear winner for gaming with the M1710 with 7950 GTX 512mb CPU = 2.16Ghz Vs M1530 with 8600 256mb CPU 2.4Ghz??

The games would play would be Dx9 games as I am new to gaming and would start from the beginning with great old games like F.E.A.R , Farcry etc

I can no doubt get the M1710 for £600 second hand and the M1530 for £800 brand new with warranty etc. I like the power of the M1710 but dont like the weight and size of it , but willing to put up with it if its loads! better for gaming than the M1530

Currently there are no Dell UK coupons for the M1530.

Front line sales do have the option to give 5% off, depending on where in the dell hiearchy they are, they could give more. However, they are told to use it sparingly = almost never unless you are at a Dell Kiosk speaking to them in person, so it is unlikely, but it can be done.

The most likely is they give you free shipping, but even that is very rare.
