Is there anybody on the Dell forum that can advise me on this? I posted this question to the accessories forum and have yet to get a response. Basically I want to know if there is a decent way to share the keyboard, video and monitor of my Dell desktop with my new E1505?

I have put a fair amount of time into researching this, and some people seem to have some success, but it is very much hit or miss with no discernible pattern. I just want a reasonable chance of success and the ability to return the kvm if it doesn't work out. Here is my earlier post:

Assuming both computers are running Windows XP, wont it be easy to set up a Remote connection?

I wasn't familiar with remote connection but I read up on it a bit and am not clear how this would help with my issue. I just want to get the benefit of my desktop sized monitor mouse and keyboard when actually working at my desk, and still be able to use the same when using the desktop. A KVM switch is what I would seem to need, but I am also trying to do this in a way that I benefit from (only one cable to connect) and don't waste the port replicator.
