I just got a E1405 with a core 2 duo processor T7200. I wanted to know if there is anything special I need to do to reformat the hard drive. I read the directions on how to reformat and they seem simple enough. I just wanted to know if anything has changed because of Core 2 Duo. I heard that there are some registry entry changes because of core 2 duo?

I would really appreciate it if people who have a core 2 duo computer can give me their input.

Thanks in advance for your help

you don't need to do anything special.

i haven't heard of any registry edits necessary; where did you "hear" this and can you post a link (i could be wrong)?
