This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    anyone else have dell direct media problems

    I don't really know how to describe it but does anyone else have dell media direct 'hang ups'. I will have my laptop off and I will hit the media direct button, most of the time it will work fine, but other times it will freeze, i can't shut it off or make it do anything. I have to pull the battery out. Other times I have the computer on and hit the media button, it will open and then freeze, I have to do cntrl alt delte and task bar, and then close it. Its buggin me. A new computer should not do this.

    Anyone else have this problem?
