the touchpad really annoys the hell out of me sometimes because it is too far to the LEFT, and my palm always hits it. really annoying.. i have no idea why dell didn't just center it.

anyone else with this problem? (don't know about the other series)

Seems fine to me. Perhaps you should decrease the tapping mechanism

maybe i just have some big ass hands? the bottom right of my palm(right below the thumb) always hits the left click and taps the touchpad, especially when i'm playing hl2 or cs since my hands are right on the wsad with part of my hand over the touchpad.

Possibly your hands. And perhaps you rest your hands on the laptop. I play the piano so I'm used to the "Spider fingers"

    :D

Ah, yeah, I do rest my hands on the bottom of the keyboard. lol spider fingers maybe i should try that :p. well i am typing with spider fingers right now and it does appear to void the problem. i'll practice it and the piano when i get the chance.

It's not off centered, although you would think it would be as such. It's not centered with the system as a whole, it's centered with the keyboard which actually makes it more usable IMO...
