I head somewhere that they'd stopped doing white because there's something wrong with the paint? It was something silly like that anyway.

Hey, then you shouldn't have returned your white M1330. I mean it's collector's edition, the symbol and metaphor of the entire fiasco. :D

Probably only a couple thousand's ever been made. :D

294 made..thats two hundred and ninety four. Thats it!

They stopped the white because they couldnt keep dust from affecting the paint process specifically in the 6th, 7th and eighth coats.

Ide give anything for one of those lids...

I got one of the 294 and it is perfectly built with the latest firmware. I have not had any issue as posted here. It is a high gloss finish and it does not collect finger prints....no worry about keeping the lid clean.

So what exactly is the defect? Something minor? Or really serious like broken disc drive? And is there anyway for them to repair it without changing the entire laptop?

well honestly, minor stuff..the silver xps letters are missing from the outside..which actually looks better haha..and theres a teeny bit of wobble.

there were really only 294 made?!!?

the lid actually doesnt attract fingerprints at all...it always looks uber clean
