I am looking to buy a new xps m170 on ebay. Does anyone know of any other place online I could buy from, for 1600 or under? low specs are fine.

    Thanks

Avoid ebay for laptops. Most of those are scams.

Hey, not all of them are bad. I bought a M170 on the deal and the next day found out that my 9300 was being replaced with one.

Sold the M170 on Ebay instead of returning it, and the guy got a good deal and an unopened box.

The key is feedback, and the seller. Test them by asking a question and seeing how long it takes to get a reply and also how well the reply is written.
