is the Standard display SIGNIFICANTLY thicker than the LED display? Also, besides longer battery life, lighter/thinner, and brighter features...

what are the CONS of the standard display?

Not significantly thicker, but one of the selling points of the m1330 is the LED screen. If you don't want an m1330, then people suggest that you get an Inspiron. (never really had experience with an Inspiron so I can't say).

From the pictures I've seen, it's probably ~5-7mm thicker.

LED display is thinner, lighter, brighter, and consumes less power (better battery life)...
