This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    went back to the dell website..today buying a colored lid os $0 but you now have to pay for the upgraded 2 gigs of RAM..and all the inspirons are Home Premium and you don't get a choice of Basic. configured one yesterday to see what it would come out to...and now i go back and configure it the same way and its cheaper..to bad i can't order one now..oh well..just thought i would let ya'll know
