    when taking it off to replace ram BE VERY VERY VERY VERY CAREFUL WITH IT... my brother in law just called me since he knew i got mine today and i did my own ram.. he tried and broke the piece in half.. he said he barely pulled on it.. he is calling dell tomm to see if he can get just that piece and how much.. i just wanted to make a separate thread for those that dont read my review thread.. just be careful it take a lot more patience and a careful hand than some may have...

    Agreed - definitely easy to break. I've noticed that from the D600 to the D630, there is a "technique" to be applied, and not just a straight-up pull.

    i like to use a plastic dental flosser .. i cut the tip back just a bit and slide it under and gently twist it up.. the go little by little.. till its loose.. the hardest part is the area that wraps over the hinges those are very fragile
