so is urs jiggly or not? j/w umm the wifi green light only kicks on when your 1520 is off. You pul it toward you and hold it for a second and itll detect if the network is present. Green light = network yellow = poor quality network i believe. Also, if you have windows open, and you pull it toward you (make sure you have Dell Quickset installed) it will pull up the "wifi catcher" program. here you can see networks, then click "wireless manager" to connect to them. At first I thought mine wasnt working too! Just power it down, and hold the button pulling it toward you. Its a really nice feature. When travelling around campus you can see if you have networks by opening ur backpack (hehe my wenger maxxum) and holding the button back, before turning it on.

ah..i didn't know the light only comes on if the computer is off...interesting

mine is a lil jiggly...not like you would expect an on/off switch to be...but it doesn't bother me...I don't think it is a problem.

hehe alrighty I figured it wasnt a defect. Honestly, I thought the light would be on when I had a connection too, when the system is running. But I guess thats what the bllue wifi light is for on the right side. Im going to reboot and check for backlight bleed like Aggie has http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=145503
I have a 1440 x 900 and I dont think it was that bad! Lets see!
