Maybe I'm just being sensitive but I can't resist myself not looking at it. The left bottom corner of the my screen has a patch of "bruise" which is quite disturbing for me because I think it's a defect. T_T. I love dark desktop and this bruise is making me paranoid. So, is this normal or the screen somehow got battered during installation? Or it's just an unusual backlighting fault.
However, it's a only viewable when the screen is at acute angles or i deliberately view the screen from above. At normal viewing angle, it's fine though
    Screen brand is LG.

thankz for the reply yup i have the complete care. Geez it can't be helped right,I doubt dell would approve a replacement for that. but i did email dell's hardware support. If i had described it on phone, he would be confused utterly.

    man, that really sucks.

it's especially bad since that is such a natural viewing position for you when you use your computer.

i frequently close my lid halfway and then stare at the screen from a completely unnatural and awkward angle because it TOTALLY helps when working on large spreadsheets and other documents.
