This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    backlit keyboard question

    Keyboard setting via QuickSet is correct--"On" option for backlight is activated, "bright" setting is on--but still, no backlight when the FN + right arrow with backlight icon is used. Checked my order and the shipping invoice, backlit keyboard was ordered and is listed on shipping invoice.

    Dell tech says "reinstall this, try that . . . " but so far, nothing has worked.
