i'm just wondering why my order has been on "in production" for two days without actually starting production...aka "in production" is blue and lit up but the kitting, build, testing, or boxing lines still havent lit up so im assuming it hasnt actually started production. could this mean they dont have the parts? i thought that was the purpose of "pre production". btw im in the US.

if u configured it with the Core 2 Duo, its gonna be longer then...

I am having the same problem only my order has been stuck on boxing???? You would think putting the completed laptop in the right box would be the quickest step
-
i think its normal to be stuck on boxing for like 3 days since it has to be shipped from malaysia or something.

this is by far the most complained about issue and we all go through it

I just got mine ordered a bit ago...
Production was grey with the date I ordered it on for awhile... with no changes. Then today I check and it jumped to boxing!
There is a number... somewhere... that you can call and talk to a customer service rep and get the ACTAUL status. At least that is what I read in a similar topic not long ago... so don't quote me on it! -
[like i told soilbleed19, call dell...they will give you the correct status of your computer, but be prepared to be on hold for at least 30 min if its busy]
[Yes. It does help. Mine was just "on hold" and when she saw that, she took it off hold and put on a rush on it.]
(From to different people on this site... just so you see that I did indeed read it somewhere) -
