I wnat to be able carry the 1530 and a mouse, power supply. a few paperbacks, airline tickets perhaps.
any bag recommendations?

Waterfield Designs makes incredible bags and custom sized sleeves for laptops. The quality is first-rate, but they're not cheap. The website is http://www.sfbags.com. You can find a sleeve that fits the M1530 perfectly. I bought one that works for both the 9 cell and 6 cell batteries.

I rarely use battery so just got the stock one.
I am unsure why these messenger styles are so popular. I like backpack but had to use if wearing a suit that day.
I may have to get a backpack and a pbusiness type case for when people actually see me.
